“The bar is set high when it comes to cloud images and this one meets it. Beyond the technical, I find that my eye can roam around the frame, finding and making images from what I see. The framing is perfect with the eye in the lower left third and the highlight balancing it in the upper right third. Research Stieglitz's equivalence. Congratulations. Make a big print!”

“Oh gee! that lower dark cloud has such uhmph! I wish you had tilted the camera down a bit to emphasize that cloud more and removed that brighter patch from the top. this has real power in the clouds.”
Peter Stranks:
“Quite a strong image and well intentioned as a black and white. The wonderful strong area bottom right is too low and little. I would tip my lens down to place it more in a third of the frame. Alternatively, move in or crop by cutting the left side by 1 inch and two inches off the top.”
