Imagined Coast

9x12”
Charcoal, pastel, watercolour on paper
When everything is gray and lifeless outside I long for the bird song and children’s laughter of summer. Water gently lapping against the fossilized shores of the South Georgian Bay, sailboats glistening in the sun, all is right with the world.
This one became just a little more fun when I realized I misaligned my taping. A bit of wabi sabi epiphany to goad me into a find the different features.
Can you?
