A hike in early December, on a new part of the Bruce Trail, led us to Standing Rocks and Caves; a splendid lookout over the surrounding countryside from the height of the Blue Mountains.

There was quite a bit of ice in the lower sections so we couldn’t explore very much, but the sun was shining and the green of forgotten summer life glowed amongst the decaying leaves.
