View from Swiss Meadows, early Spring

$380.00

Acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas

Recovery from Covid was long and it sucked. I was stir crazy, looking for new perspectives to paint and wanted a view from somewhere high. So Josh took me for a drive to Swiss Meadows, past the Scenic Caves at the top of Blue Mountain where the Open Air Gondola stops.

You have direct access to the Bruce trail from the parking lot and several scenic lookouts within a 10 minute walk. If you have not been yet, I highly recommend the vantage point.

We wandered a bit in the crisp, early spring air enjoying the faintly warming sunshine and dreaming of the apple blossoms to come in a few months, blanketing the slopes below us.

Next time we’ll have to walk a bit further to the aptly named Apple Bowl Lookout. Maybe next spring … with my easel and paints.

For more pictures please contact me and I can send you them, or even better, you can come see the painting in person to make sure that it's perfect for you.
