Spring Green and Clouds Make Me Want to Sing From the Hilltops

$450.00

24x36”

Acrylic on gallery wrapped, traditional canvas

Cloud chasing with my sister led us to the top of Fairgrounds Road above Creemore. We were trying to find just the right spot to have maximum cloud impact above the patchwork of the escarpment. She chose to turn right onto 15&16, a serendipitous move that led us to the most perfect of spots. What a glorious view!

Surrounded by fields and meadows with bee hives, prunus americanus blooming in the hedgerows, looking down onto the valley full of cloud shadows as massive cumulus chased each other away from the Bay. Such awesomeness!

What a joy to paint!
