Meadow Shard is an imagined slice; overflowing with flowers and colour, the smell of fresh cut grass, summer heat.

Clouds drift across the sky, bees buzz, and the world is peaceful as the meadowlark sings.

It is painted on a piece reclaimed from a local cottage that was demolished. This adds history and context to the farm that has been here for at least a century, and the cottage at least 50 years.
