View from Swiss Meadows, April, 2022

$100.00

15x40”

As I was recovering from Covid Josh and I took a drive and ended up at the lookout at Swiss Meadows. The tapestry of water and land, trees and fields beneath us was beautiful and I went home knowing I had to paint it. This piece of wood was wrapped with tissue paper to provide texture - a sculptural element.

It is painted on a piece reclaimed from a local cottage that was demolished. This adds history and context to the farm that has been here for at least a century, and the cottage at least 50 years.

For more pictures please contact me and I can send you them, or even better, you can come see the painting in person to make sure that it's perfect for you.
